The travel industry can be very confusing…

  • How do they make money?
  • What are all those acronyms about?
  • How does the technology work?
  • Does it have to work like that?

For start-ups (or cross-vertical companies) breaking into travel, I’m happy to have a 30-minute or one-hour call to explain travel tech — PSS, NDC, OMS, OOSD, airlines, e-commerce, distribution, and loyalty — based on my 30 years of experience working in almost every corner of this industry.

So, why would I do this?

This sector needs to be more open, transparent, and collaborative. Open to new blood, new ideas, new companies, and solutions from other sectors. Industry education will be my side project – along with some collaborators – for 2025. (More on that – coming soon.)

There are some caveats:

  • I’m not a buyer or a reseller
  • I’m not investing
  • I won’t do bus dev or lead gen
  • I don’t know everything!
