Update: I probably will be saying a few words at the start, mostly about the Irish travel tech scene and the more than 50 companies involved.
Update 2: There will be food. (Should have mentioned that in the invite.)
Update 3: Expecting 80 to 100 people.
The Dublin Travel Tech Morning in association with Gempool Recruitment and Dublin Travel Massive will take place at 8am, on Tuesday 10th of May, in Dogpatch Labs in the CHQ Building, Dublin. (See map).
Gerry Samuels, formerly Founder / CEO of MTT (sold to Travelport) and Founder / CEO of Gradient Solutions (sold to Sabre) and Bobby Healy, CTO of CarTrawler and formerly Founder / CTO of Eland Technologies (sold to SITA), have kindly agreed to talk and share some of their experiences / war stories.
The event should be of interest to travel technology innovators, startups, and investors; CEOs and CTOs in particular. Event is FREE to members of Dublin Travel Massive. Thanks very much to Gavin Bourke of WildTribe for organizing it and Gempool Recruitment for sponsoring.
I’m not speaking myself, but helping out a little. Hopefully I’ll see you there.

Update: Post Event
Thanks to everyone who came out. Bobby, Gerry and Paul were entertaining and informative. Thanks to everyone in Gempool for sponsoring, organizing, and running things on the day, Dogpatch Labs for hosting, Travel Massive Dublin for supporting and Enterprise Ireland for bringing a significant contingent of travel companies from abroad.
In case you didn’t get a chance to introduce yourself, here are the LinkedIn links for the various speakers:-
Here’s the slide with the logos of some of the travel technology companies with either head offices or development centers in Ireland:-
